How much does a Teddy Eddie course cost?
Teddy Eddie is a licensed teaching method, which means that it is the language school that sets the course prices. It is best to ask for information and details of what is on offer (such as the course price or the timetable) directly at the chosen language centre. Why are Teddy Eddie lessons twice a week, in-house only?
Our experience shows that this frequency and form of lessons is approved by parents and absolutely essential for little students. Your child needs regular contact with the language and adequate interaction, which online lessons will not provide. The form of learning by playing games requires your child to be with a teacher and in a group of peers.
How can I check that the Teddy Eddie course is effective?
The effects of Teddy Eddie lessons are slightly different depending on the level, so we encourage you to read about them at teddyeddie.com/en/levels.

At the beginning, our aim is to make your child happy to participate in the lessons – we want our little ones to love the English language. Then it’s time for the language effects. Although it is not easy to verify them, the Teddy Eddie method has a number of features which help to check the little learners’ progress. Firstly, there is the emphasis on contact between parent and teacher, a mutual exchange of information and collaboration. In addition, one of the items in the Education Pack that each student receives is a Parent’s Guide. It contains information on the basic skills and knowledge that the child will acquire during the course. After each lesson, the teacher invites parents to a 2-minute talk about what was learnt in the lesson that day and sends an email once a week with a summary. Comprehensive, descriptive progress reports are issued every term.

What are the qualifications of the teachers who teach Teddy Eddie lessons?
Teddy Eddie teachers are fully trained in the method, know how to teach and are familiar with the requirement standards by which we ensure lesson quality. On top of this, they have access to attractive teaching materials, which means they can focus on building positive associations with English in children and passing on knowledge.
Will I need to work with my child at home?
Any demonstration of parental involvement in a child’s learning has a huge, positive impact on learning outcomes. The Teddy Eddie method does not include compulsory exercises to be done at home. However, we have designed an educational Playground app for our learners to consolidate the material learnt in each lesson. By playing games and listening to songs at home, your child will achieve even better language results in the lessons.
